Gamesa has secured five new orders for the supply of a total of 304 MW to several customers.
Gamesa will supply, install and commission the turbines, as well as handling the operations and maintenance services at all of the facilities.
Moreover, at four of the complexes, the company will take charge of construction.
Gamesa will supply 80 of its G114-2.0 class S turbines (160 MW) and 72 of its G97-2.0 MW class S (144 MW) turbines, both of which were specifically configured for the Indian market with the aim of maximising turbine performance at low wind speed sites. These projects are slated for commissioning during the first quarter of 2017.
